    Product Description

A modern take on a true winter classic: introducing the Fair Trade Certified™ Schaffer Sweater. A reverse fairisle pattern shines at the chest, shoulders, and cuffs giving this sweater a more contemporary style than traditional fairisle knits. To achieve this look sustainably, Aventura primarily used organic cotton to craft this fabric. Not only is organic cotton considered eco-friendly, but it is also hailed for its softness and breathability. This fabric is also special because it knits fine gauge yarn into a jersey so that it sits lighter on the body than the typical fairisle sweater. Rib-knit details along the neck, cuffs, and hemline tone create chic and polished finishes to this beautiful sweater.

    Fair Trade Certified™

More than just fair treatment and wages, Fair Trade Certified™ empowers female garment workers who otherwise would be stuck in situations where they are unable to free themselves from poverty, provide for their families, gain independence, or obtain an education for their children.

    Organic Cotton

Did you know that organic cotton is estimated to save 2,180 liters of water for just one pair of jeans compared to conventional cotton? Organic cotton also reduces CO2 emissions and energy and eliminates toxic chemicals that affect soil, precious ecosystems, and food and water supply.
